To help maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for everyone, we have put together these Community Guidelines. As an intermediary under Indian law, we provide a platform for users to connect and share content while enforcing our Community Guidelines. However, users are solely responsible for the content they create, share, or interact with, and we are not directly liable for user-generated content or actions, except as required by law.

These Community Guidelines are part of the broader Platform Policies, which also include our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Use.

Why these guidelines matter

Our Community Guidelines are here to protect users and promote a positive experience. They outline what is and is not acceptable on Bubu and help us create a space that values safety, diversity, and constructive dialogue.

We may take action if someone violates these Community Guidelines. This could include removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, or informing authorities if necessary.

Profile guidelines

You must be 18 or older to use Bubu. Creating a profile that shows you as under 18 is strictly prohibited. We may ask for ID to verify age, and anyone found to be underage will be blocked.

Always treat others with respect. Do not share someone else's personal information or your own contact details. Any form of intimidation, manipulation, or harassment is not allowed.

Nudity, sexual activity and exploitation

Bubu has a strict zero‑tolerance policy towards child sexual exploitation and any sexual content that violates our standards. Nudity, sexually explicit content, commercial sexual or romantic transactions, and sexual harassment are prohibited.

Bullying, hate and violence

Bullying, abusive conduct, identity‑based hate, and any violent or graphic content are not allowed. Bubu is a space for respectful, inclusive conversations. Content that promotes or glorifies violence, self‑harm, or hate towards individuals or communities is forbidden.

Scams, fraud and malicious behaviour

Any attempt to scam, deceive, or financially exploit other users is strictly prohibited. This includes asking for money, phishing, sharing malicious links, operating fraudulent schemes, or using unauthorised software, bots, or exploits to manipulate the platform.

Compliance and enforcement

All content and communication on Bubu must follow applicable laws, including Indian law. If a member violates these Guidelines or harms the platform or its users, we may remove content, issue warnings, temporarily or permanently ban the user, and, where appropriate, work with law enforcement.
